Model and Etiquette Camps 2008
Are you interested in becoming a professional Model? Or, would you like to experience what it takes to be one? Modeling isn’t just about having a pretty face; it is also about first impressions, poise and etiquette. Have you ever been to a restaurant and questioned which fork or bread plate to use? The etiquette portion of this camp will be held at one of the finest Italian restaurants in downtown Naperville, La Sorella. LOOKS is pleased to be hosting its first annual Model and etiquette camp in downtown Naperville. The team of professionals for this camp include: Loretta Wilger-Asmus, Owner of LOOKS, has over eighteen years experience in the fashion/modeling industry. Susan Fignar: Owner of Pur*sue inc., professional corporate and etiquette consultant. Teri Benedetti: Professional stylist/ image consultant. Karrie Zizzo ( photographer of Tru Portraits) professional photographer from Los Angeles.
Etiquette and Miss Manners
Monday June 23rd and August 11th
10:00 am to 12:30 pm
(This session is for male and female; all ages.)
- First impression Do’s and Don’ts.
- Etiquette, social behavior, and dining decorum.
- “Dine and Shine” Luncheon at La Sorella in Downtown Naperville.
*Etiquette class presented by Susan Fignar 10:00-12:30. If you would like to do this portion only. Cost: $150 per person. You and a friend $130 per person

- Learn how to walk with poise and grace from Loretta herself.
- First impression dos and don’ts.
- Etiquette, social behavior, and dining decorum.

- Wardrobe: Find out the perfect fit for your body type while learning tips and tricks for next seasons fashion.
Cost: For Entire Day: $240 You and a friend, $220 per person

- Learn how to move in front of the camera with confidence, poise and grace
- Loretta will teach you the tricks of the trade on makeup application
- Includes: Professional photo shoot, hair, makeup and styling on Thursday or Friday
(This course covers catalogue, commercial print, advertising and editorial modeling)

Photo shoot will be held at Tru Portraits on Thursday & Friday. Each person will be able to choose one of the two days . This will take 2 to 3 hrs including hair and make-up. Further details will be discussed in Wednesdays class
Cost: $699 Includes: Wednesday’s class and Thursday or Friday’s photo shoot. (If you are a male deduct $50. You will not need to attend makeup class.) Price does not include printed images. A charge of $10 per image is additional. We are accepting ages 12 to 40.
* Customized Beauty Kit (optional)
Includes concealer, eye shadow, blush, mascara, gloss and a travel sable brush set.

Loretta Wilger-Asmus |
Loretta understands the modeling business. After growing up on a farm, she rose to the top of her profession. During her 15-year career, Loretta has been photographed for prestigious magazines, such as Italian Vogue, and has shared sets with Cindy Crawford, Iman, and many other top models. She has worked for high profile catalogs, including Neiman Marcus, I.Magnin, Nordstrom's and Marshall Field's, to name a few. As a scout and agent, Loretta has helped launch and guide many modeling careers. |
Karrie Zizzo |
Karrie Zizzo's background brings together many different creative influences. While working at Elizabeth Arden Salon in Los Angeles, she was asked to free-lance as a hairdresser for many Los Angeles photographers whom were working with Wilhelmina Models and LA Models. This industry exposure has influenced and led her to her now professional career as owner and photographer of TRU Portraits, Inc. in Naperville. Whether photographing families, children or teens, she uses a "editorial or magazine feel" in her images which her clients have come to love! |
Teri Benedetti |
Teri Tkachuk Benedetti became impassioned with fashion while working with Bryan Adams, Martina McBride, Anne Murray, Michael Buble and Bruce Allen for close to a decade in Vancouver, Canada. She dressed sports celebrities Bret “Hitman” Hart; Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson; and many female Olympic athletes for their photo shoots, press junkets, television and red carpet appearances. She currently works for photographers as a top wardrobe stylist and stage manager for runway shows. Teri is also the Style Editor at Naperville Magazine. |
Susan Fignar |
Susan Fignar teaches people how to improve their image to enhance their professional and personal success. A nationally recognized corporate consultant, motivational speaker, educator, and image development trainer with 25 years of business experience, Susan works with leading corporations, teaching individuals and teams how to polish their professional appearance, refine workplace etiquette, become a team leader, and strengthen professional relationships. The series will be held at LOOKS salon: 43 E. Jefferson Ave., Naperville IL.
